Fred Nile's shameful political games

Fred Nile has sided with far-left anti-Christian MP Clover Moore and reportedly refused to back changes to the Local Government Act, unless the Government support amendments that would help his party.
The amendments would prevent Federal Liberal MP Joanna Gash from running in the Shoalhaven Mayoral elections in September. The current Mayor is Christian Democrat MP Paul Green.

What a cynical, unprincipled power grab.

  1. Clover Moore is NOT anti-Christian, she is Roman Catholic. And while we're on the topic of mistruths about Clover Moore, she does not “double dip”, her Lord Mayor salary is donated to charity and has raised over $1million since elected in 2004.

    1. Firstly, I stand by my view she is anti-Christian. She introduced a gay adoption bill which was strongly opposed by Christian groups. View my post in question.
Secondly, I did not say she didn't donate the money.

  2. You are welcome to your own view. But she is Roman Catholic, she does go to Church. In the case of gay adaption, I believe she was acting in the best interests of children including those who were already in a same sex parenting environment.
