What's important to you?

GE is asking Australian's in two words to describe ''what you feel is the single biggest challenge'' facing us in the future.

Currently, the results are stacked with words like 2. ''Clean Environment'' and 7. ''Religious Harmony''.

I think much more important challenges are facing us. So tell GE what matters to you. My suggestion is ''free speech''

  1. I agree: free speech.

First Liam Stacey is jailed for an offensive opinion and now the government is talking about snooping on our internet history.

Liam Stacey's imprisonment is clearly political. He wouldn't be in prison if he had mocked the demise of Margaret Thatcher.
Also, the abuse directed at *him* was worse; involving incitement to violence. No prosecutions though.

    Double standards, definitely.
We need to defend our free speech from the "liberal" judiciary and the State.
